Hoteleus, a mayor tour operator of Mexico’s Copper Canyon, is happy to announce that one of their clients, the Broadston family, has broken the new record of the oldest family doing the ziplines adventure tour in Copper Canyon Adventure Park. Each day more and more seniors from USA and Canada discover Copper Canyon and the Chepe train route. The Copper Canyon is one of the most fabulous train rides in the world and a very good value vacation in Mexico. The Broadston family travelled in March 2022 in a group of four and made a 7-day tour from Los Mochis to Chihuahua covering the complete route.

“We four had a great trip!  Thanks for all your help. The seven ziplines adventure was fabulous. So glad I made the reservation in advance. Mexico is magnificent and the people are so welcoming, and we loved the food.” shared Sue Broadston to Teresa Roman, Copper Canyon travel specialist. Sue also said that “It might be fun to note that we are 78 and 80 years old this year—and that the Zipline tour has raised their maximum age to 84 years and 11 months! We were worried that they might reject us. Two athletes still going strong!”. To which Eddie Aguilar, the designer of the tours to Copper Canyon, declared that “We are so happy to know about such great experiences from our clients. It helps us realize that we are helping people have a great vacation and discover beautiful places in Mexico. We hope that our new friends, the Broadston family, can share this experience so we can help more people discover Copper Canyon.”

Mexico’s Copper Canyon Tour

Copper Canyon is a fantastic destination in the North-Western part of Mexico in the states of Chihuahua and Sinaloa.

In the XX century the Mexican government built a train route that started in the desert in Chihuahua, close to the boarder with Texas, and continued across the mountains to the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean in the city of Los Mochis. The train route through the mountains became the most amazing masterpiece of engineering of Mexico of the whole century. The train journey today, known as the Chepe train route, is a touristic train route that crosses for more than 500 miles the desert and the mountains of the Sierra Madre Occidental in Mexico. The journey has a lot more to offer apart from the train, that has been recognized by the Society of American Travel Writers as the “World’s most existing train ride.” Tourists learn about the local cultures as the Tarahumaras, that still live in caves and are known to be the best long distant runners in the world.
